Just for clarification...The story I wrote for the design is sort of just a caption. It is not the literal interpretation.

The movie just has the creature always after the girl. I am sure during his time period sneaking up and scaring the hell out of his female counterparts was totally acceptable. =)

Though with your suggestions...I might take a third crack at it. =)

I like it a lot though her hips look a little bit too wide when compared to her midsection. Her facial features are priceless. I'd still hit it.

i love the girl, but the dude .. his hands look funny. i think you were going for the webbed-hands thing, but to me it came out as blobs with claws, also, its alittle much in the cod-piece reigon. it rocks on kelly. those drawbacks aren't enough to not buy it tho.

I love the design, the chick is hot and the monster's cool. Wow, that sounds cheesy.

Anyway, I'm giving it a 5, but it's sadly not something I'd wear.

I'm seriously liking this. It's $5 in my book regardless of what's done with it, but I will agree about the flowers and/or candy idea. The first date concept is just too good an idea to leave underdeveloped.

As for whoever it was that said the chick was too wide (I'm too lazy to scroll up and look), ignore that. Classic movie chicks oggta have them big hips. It's very fifties. And besides: hippy-chicks are hotties. :)

You make this whole thing about first impressions, but as the design stands it's just a lady being attacked by the creature. All the creativeness of the fish thing trying to pick up chicks isn't therre, and it makes me sad.

Agreeing with erluti -- if you can incorporate your hilarious comment concept into the shirt, I'd buy two of them. $10.
