I love the sketchy style-- it is appropriate when you consider the context. I think it is a really clever way to allude to the idea that people have to give in order for organizations like the ones being promoted to work.... IIII like it!

I like the sketchy style, though your angles are a bit off on the vending machine. What I absolutely hate about this design is the idea of "vending." Vending sends a negative connotation...something that is pre-packaged, cold, prepared by machines and without warmth or kindness.

Although, "HATE" is such a strong word for such a loose and friendly message. if you read my first entry you'd see my intentions of the vending idea. It's less about the idea of "pre-packaged, cold, prepared by machines and without warmth or kindness." and more about the mulitple services Red Cross provides (tons), and is always there depending on the need. Plus the idea that your donation of time, money or blood help make it all happen. I see nothing "cold" about that message.

Great concept! It makes giving/donating to the Red Cross seem as easy as just getting something to eat/drink out of a vending machine...which it is....genius!

I really like this design a LOT. But, PLEASE stop commenting so much on your own work. I have said this before, the designs need to stand on their own without the artist continually commenting on their own work.The blog area is the place you can explain things (am I wrong on this?)... That really bothers me. Sorry, pet peeve. Normally I just hit the skip button when I see the artist has commented more than 2 or 3 times and you have 6.
BUT, since I like this so much....$5
This raw, free sketchy look is amazing.
You don't need to defend your work or sit and explain it, because this, unlike SO many of the Red Cross subs actually makes sense right when you look at it. And that's great. And it does so without hitting you over the head by having the words "HOPE, COMPASSION, and HUMANITY" actually in the design.

I really like your color choice and relaxed art style Street Wise, you do great work. $5's all around.
