This is similar to gameyy's Once Upon A War (same shot of the tank, same overgrown feelings.)

In any case, you're either gonna want to change the vines so they fits the vectortrace feel or do the vectors by hand so they match the vines.

Also, even vines need to grow from somewhere.

Has a lot of potential to be really good, I agree with what Verdana said about the vines, making it all fit together would really make me fall in love with this. I do like the text though, it helps drive the point home for those people in the world that can't look at a picture and get a point.

why does everyone hate text so much? The meaning or concept would be floundering without the text in this case... leave the text as is! great idea like it a lot.

actually the vines are coming from the tank that's why they look like that.

I like this one better than the othe one i think that the contrast between the tank and the vines is pretty cool and the kids are cute !

I say, if you lose the text, you have ot lose the kids as well. Otherwise it just wouldn't work. Either way Ilike it a lot.

I'd be tempted to lose the text, because I think it's clear enough what's happening. I'm undecided on whether this would be better without the kids.

As for the vines, I think they work well - the fact that they have a different texture to the tank makes it look as if they are fresher/newer, which fits with the concept.

Overall, $5 though.

Like the concep a lot but there seems to be a disjointedness. I agree with Verdana's comment. In that other design, the composition feels stronger. Greater sense of peace.<br>
Kids seem too much on another plan. Perhaps move them up some, enlarge them just a tad to force more foreground appeal. Ditch the words all together or just "What's that?" and 86 the bird. AND lastly, perhaps a more hopeful color for the shirt. After all this is a promising thing. That's all I got :)

Might as well beat a dead horse, but I was thinking... that the kids look like they're thinking. No need for the text. Ha! I said it again. It's pretty obvious what they are likely thinking standing there looking at a vine-covered tank. And kids wouldn't say something profound like that. They'd say, "You think we could get inside it and blow things up?"

Lose the text and you leave room for interpretations...innocence, humor, whatever...

But this is really great. I hope you listen to all of us and get this sucka printed!
