The "C" looking shape is for ...

1.the Eye movement.
To make people look it from the up-center to the right middle.
(hope it works :))

2.the Design purpose.
To tie the all pieces together.

3. Expressing the theme Hope, Humanity and Compassion by a simple shape.
We Japanese often say [Shinsetsu wa hito no tame narazu],
which means," One good turn deserves another".
I wanted to say "The little kindness that the little guy did to the flower will meet another great kindness." with the double-C-shape.

I wish I could explain better, but I hope it's understandable :)
