I'm a designer but not so passionate about the 4 color process that I'd wear it on a shirt... that's just me... I kind like the Pantones better...

so you use pantones when you send a design that uses over a million color variants to the printers sventlana? wow, that's amazing |

yes this is a re-submission. i took the advice from all the comments from the previous one. instead of till death it now says for life. i added a 4 color separation and i took out the drops that people didn't seem to like. sorry for not explaining that the first time.

bananaphone on Apr 18 '06 and CMYK is flawed, alot of printing houses have another ink so they can make more vibrant oranges.

I like the edits you made, the rose in all magenta, and the cyan dingbat "doily" underneath! It holds together much better now. It's a great in-joke for designers + printers!

To be fair, I probably wouldn't wear a Pantone shirt either, unless the Pantone company sent it to me... for free.

Robsoul: Wow run-on sentence! I'm no grammar whiz either.
I'm forced to use 4-c process at my job but luckily I have a handy Pantone color bridge to help me convert colors. There is still a lot of room for error though. The oranges are especially tricky. |

right, i guess if it has a skull or rose or something it must be emo now. it definitely couldn't be something else. definitely couldn't be traditional tattoo inspired like sailor jerry or don ed hardy or anything like that. back in my day emo consisted of bands like rites of spring, quicksand, texas is the reason, embrace, minor threat, snapcase and fugazi. because emo stood for emotional hardcore. damnit, now i feel old.

i was going to give this shirt a two
but after reading that rant, you just bumped yourself up to a 3. texas is the reason mentions earn an extra bonus point. you've got the rose petals wrapping around the skull, which makes the rose seem less flat... and then the skull being so flat up against that is very bothersome to me. maybe a little more detail on it would help. |

i like it a lot. i'd wear this and i'm not even a designer, and i don't really know the joke. except maybe its that instead of the real red blue yellow you guys use these colors?
anywho it reminds me of 8 balls and tatoos and such. good shirt color choice. $5 |

Dallasj: the K, which is black, stands for "Key" Because it's kind of a key color or something... you get the idea. And B is already taken by blue.
This is a nice design, anyway. Better than most CMYK subs. It's best on the tannish-brown or whataver. |

because back in the day when they used plates. the black plate was called the key plate. so K stands for Key plate which stands for the Black plate.
