About my design

by osoboe
Bullseye!

I live in England, along the welsh border, where there are plenty of hills and plenty of sheep. Watching the sun dart in and out of clouds, the rays and shadows mixing as they race across the grass gave me the idea for this design. Apologies if you think it's poorly drawn, but I've never been too skilled at art (I have the ideas, but no means to execute them) and this is my first real attempt at drawing anything in photoshop.

The green tee in the top right is for an alternate colour scheme I think would look quite good, but it would also require some editing to keep the tee within the 4 colour limit, so I'm hoping you'll keep it simple and vote for the original blue! (top left)

To see the design full size in all its (hah!) glory, please go here: http://www.deviantart.com/view/31707497/

This submission has 4 unique colours, with the blue background and smallest inner circle counting as the t-shirt colour.

This is my first ever submission to Threadless. Be kind. :)

if you are new to drawing maybe you should try hand drawing, its alot easier than going straight to photoshop imo. (not commenting on your design, just the general artistic process)

Yeah I can't draw in photoshop at all. Hand drawing is easier... although... I don't really know how to get a hand-drawn thing into threadless. Scanner, I guess. I like this though it's nice.

You could invest in a tablet - they're really nifty. :D

Hehe, at first I thought, Alien Sheep Abduction! Then oh, roast lamb? heehee. I like your explanation better.

try hand drawing. if you can't use photoshop (like me), then do something else to make a design nice.

Drawing in photoshop?....

yuck

Either hand draw and scan in, or get illustrator and work with that.

I try to use photoshop as little as I possibly can when it comes to drawing.
