i don't like the eye in the triangle though, it creeps me out :<

this is far too cartoony to be dealing with an issue as dark as death. your style just doesn't fit your subject matter.

yeah get rid of the eye of providence and the rest is great.

Sodacap_bum on Apr 12 '06
the eye is just a little creepy, and I agree with lisadee that your style is a tad bit inappropriate for the subject that your dealing with. But it is a GREAT design, i would definitely wear that minus the eye.

I would like this a lot better withouth the eye-sun thing...

Thanks for your comments!
I think that a cartoon-like design to explore such a subject is very deep. At first sight, this design evokes joy, lightness, but the key thing is the contrary. In my opinion, this strange couple of feelings is what "hope" is, combined with a strange compassion with this "pure" atmosphere. For me, Red cross' main goal is to erase the tragic, awful, and bloody aspect of death (especially in war). This is this hope that I wanted to express.
Cheers!
ps: about the eye: I didnt want to show something religious, but this eye (usually called the third eye, symbol of total knowledge for the egyptians) is here to broadcast an enigmatic/mystic feeling, in order to understand what the design express: death.
pps: sorry for my english

The style of the eye doesn't match the rest of the shirt, unless you make the eye more cartoon-like.

"The Illuminati killed that little girl ?!"
Seriously, that is the first thing I thought of when I saw this shirt.
Your style is cute, colours are nice, but the eye is freaking me out.

I LIKE the eye. Don't get rid of the eye! Death doesn't have to be sad... but I think the eye thing could be BIGGER and maybe less of a weird shape for a sun, eh? I don't know... it's all right as is, but I like the eye too much for it to be so teeny. Most seem to disagree. Do what you will.

I take that back. It's a pretty good size. And shape. But don't get rid of it.

Nice colours. I actually like the eye. It's the eye you get when you're a psychic in the sims.
I don't like the girl as much as I like the eye though.

Nice illustration and incredible enough it translates into a tshirt design. Nice work... though I don't think it's red cross material.
