That is so adorable! It reminds me of the tree of life in disney's animal kingdom. Very good job. Maybe make the animals more defined so it doesnt take so long for them to be noticed. If I hadnt see the caption I wouldnt have known there were animals in the bark. The leaves look odd as well. But great idea!

i wanted the animals to be camoflauged into the woodgrain, so it takes a second's glance to notice them. as for the leaves, they are more of a decorative element since their inclusion is an afterthought, but i guess they could be refined too. |
