I love the idea, but you don't *think* about a lightbulb - it just appears over your head.

Unless I'm totally misinterpreting the design. In which case, nevermind.

Lose the thought bubbles (not the lights) and it's a 5.

"I love the idea, but you don't *think* about a lightbulb - it just appears over your head."

Its not that youre thinking ABOUT a lightbuld, its Edison creating the lightbulb, just like the cave man is creating fire. Candle...i think that came a little earlier than the 1600's (at least his outfit seems 1600's-ish to me)

AWESOME idea. i agree about losing the thought bubbles though, but really it's unimportant enough that i wouldn't care if you left em in there. this is just a brilliant shirt.

1. Lose thought bubbles.

2. Why is the modern guy holding an umbrella? A club, a musket, an umbrella?

I agree with a lot of these comments, the thought bubbles change the meaning. I think you should just get rid of those and then I'd buy it for sure.

i know this would change a lot, but i would really really like a robot after the last guy, thinking of a laser or something futuristic.

that, i would wear.

great idea--no pun intended--however, the rigidity of the thought bubbles seems so out of place in this design--and additionally--very "un-glennz-like"

Great idea, but I'd like it more without the bubbles.

The thought bubles give an impression of man's progression in lighting technology. Leaving the question, whats next? The suggestion of removing the thought bubbles gives it a nice playful twist, which to me, works better for a T-shirt. Great stuff.

the bubbles are all the same... it irks me.

i also like zeypher's idea.

cool concept! ^^

This is very cool! But I'd like it even more if there where a fourth figure with a LED over his head!

the umbrella is tuff to change but it should be considered (unless u live in England or Seattle).

a briefcase would be logical (as the first two images have tools in their grasp) but the loss of symmetry.

how bout a pull behind suit case er what else

maybe just the umbrella

cool idea, but the fire is badly done.

i think it'd be better if it were just the light bulb over the head kind of "eureka!" thing, except evolving over time... er. yeah. what redsugar said.

Omg leeve the fire and shit like that but loose the thought bubbles then it would so kick ass!!!!!!!!!!

Is this showing what type of lights people had, or is it playing off the cliche'd "lightbulb" that appears over your head when you have an idea? I love this design, but it's a little unclear...

Judging from the third man's silhouette there were already light bulbs by his time and age.

I believe a more appropriate hand gesture would be the index finger pointing towards the sky, hand a little farther from the face and head tilted slightly upwards.

The white bubbles would be smart to drop as they actually seem to make a few people (Nayeli, are you serious, or being sharp-tongued?) misinterpret the illustration, as nicely pointed out by ZeypheR. Without the title present I suppose this will be even more the case.

Removing the bubbles could also mean one less color and make production slightly cheaper, but I guess it will be useful to give the bonfire, candle and bulb a nice contrast to the body silhouettes. Also, some lines radiating out from them would help to give the impression that they just appeared in the air.

Anyways, this is superb and I'd buy it!
