this is cool. i actually had an idea similar to this but i don't know anything about designing. it makes more sense on the dark shirt.
can you not make the bottom look so cutesy? there are other ways to portray optimism without bunnies and butterflies and rainbows and hearts. and the fact that the one kite string has to be so long bugs me, so could you shorten the glass a bit? |

this is a great idea, and i like the design. and i think if you portrayed optimism another way, it wouldn't make as much sense. and really, what other ways are there to portray optimism?

those are masculine colors? uh-ok.
anyway - I agree about the people on the bottom - they bug me. I think it's because they look too proportioned (like silhouttes from a traced photo) in comparison to the other images which have a cartoony feel. maybe if you replaced them with more cartoony looking people... it's a good concept - it's somewhat counterintuitive that the doom&gloom is above the sunshine&butterflies (empty/full) - but that adds to the image and i like the ash grey and greenish-grey colors in your profile |

Love it. The top half looks a lot better on dark grey, though the bottom half isn't really affected by which colour it's on. Perhaps it'd be nice for pessimists and optimists versions: pessimists buy it on grey, optimists on natural.

I think the concept is a great one, however, something about the colors and the placement makes it seem more bland than it is. Perhaps more colors or a change of colors, such as palattes that juxtopose the two moods, would greatly strengthen the design and feel of the shirt.

I like very much the concept and the illustration in itself...but somewhat I don't like the way it looks on a shirt, the glass shape misses something, something about balance in the shirt space.
The illustration doesn't merge well with the shirt. I hope I have given the idea. maybe it's me, maybe it's how the pictures were taken. |
