5$ for the premise, 3 and a maybe $ on the execution. Definately would benefit from more detail on the arms and floofier frosting!

i love the idea , but it doesn't look like a cupcake(the top of the cupcake isn't high enough, so it looks like some creature with its head lopped off, exposing brains) or a robot (the arms are too organic)

That doesn't look like a cupcake. It looks like a pile of vomit encased in a picket fence.

Perhaps you could make it puffier at the top to make it look more cupcake-ish.

I think it's worth being literal, because if you don't read the title of the design, the design can come off as really weird. If you're wearing a shirt with a design like this, people will want you to explain! And that should be fun! I'd be worried that if I bought it too many people would go "no dude, that doesn't look like a cupcake or a robot, it's kinda scary".

I think the intent is whimsical and awesome, and I hope it gets a redesign because it's worth it.

I also agree that I should redesign it a bit....this was an ink drawing that I've begun to recreate in illustrator....seems like I could take your suggestions and make it look really cool next time. I think a lot of it had to do with color choice.
