It's obvious that George is looking up to the power hunger forces who have made him a pawn in the greater conspiracy to eliminate the kitty cat. Perhaps Fluffy knew too much. Maybe George isn't even the real shooter. Next shirt - Jack Ruby taking out george with a crossbow.

Horrible. Monkeys suck. Other way around and I would have given it $5. Not just because I like cats better, because it would have been far cooler and more imaginative. I do like your illustration style though, good use of color.

And I think George looking up is a cute idea, because it's as if he's oblivious to the fact that he doesn't realize the consequences of his actions, which is a motif in Curious George books. He probably didn't see the cat die and fall (or vice versa, who knows which happened first, lmao). Total 5 and buy.

he's not looking at the cat because it wasn't his target, he just shot an arrow off into the sky, and due to gravity it fell down and hit the cat . people don't be so literal

It's strange, i like cats but it doesn't bother me that it has a dead cat on it but it is a bit strange. I think maybe its the size of the two animals and the placement, i'm not sure

I can't believe that no-one realised that monkey shot an arrow into the air, and being a peanut brain, is still looking for it in the direction he released it. Kitty just happened to be standing in the wrong place when it landed. Monkey is innocent of deliberate cat-slaughter. The defence rests. (What a bunch of sillies!)

First, it HAS to be George. How the heck else is he going to communicate the idea of "curiousity"? Curiousity, Curious George... DUH. And he's not evil, the killing of the cat was an accident.. due to his probable CURIOUSITY of what it would be like to shoot that arrow.. hence him still standing there, looking at where he shot it. My only qualm with this design is that it's not totally obvious that it's a cat right away. It actually took me a few seconds to figure out what the hell it was - looked like some furry rodent at first, =P. But yeah, I like it. I like that you kind of have to think about it for a bit. |

To be fair, this is a clever shirt with a well-drawn design. It broke my heart, though. I LOVE your cleverness....I hate dead kitties. Waaah. I guess I was hoping for a fun shirt. Perhaps the morbid folk would dig this big time. It's all about knowing your target audience.

I find this to be pretty effective because the style remains intact from the books. Cartoon violence is hard to pull off but I think you have done it. Good work.
