not specifically bonnie and clyde but based on the romantic story and a recent conversation about women being drawn to \"bad boys\".
Black looks more effective, but I prefer it on the grey as it looks more vintage.

The execution of the design is good

execution great, style great, but i agree, there is a lack of action. given the style, we're expecting some sort of action or at least more action in the portrait. granted, it's cliche to add a tommy gun just because it's got a 30's gangster theme... so not sure what to tell you.

Beautifully drawn as always. What you can do with just four colours amazes me. Certainly a 5 for talent. I'm holding back on the $ though because it's missing the dynamism that the subjects demand. It's almost contemplative as a composition, whereas this is surely a pair whose love feeds on action. Snap-brim hats off for the skills though.

i love the style of this, i just don't like the flames!! i think they should be behind the car, because the windowpane is already red, so it'd make more sense over there...or else just have it over all three figures . as it stands, it looks awkward to me where it's placed now.

anyway, as i said, your style is awesome. great work.

I LOVE this style -- hot roadster, guy in a fedora, flames. Though I'm tending to agree with a previous poster that the flames might look better behind the car, or "engulfing" all three figures? Excellent imagery, though. I'd buy it!
