Hey, all you print designers. Burned out on esoteric CMYK t-shirt designs yet? :)

EXCESSIVE ANNOTATIONS:
1) Based on the cover of Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" (duh) ... 2) Entire design is 13" wide... 3) Prism base is 3" wide... 4) The type is Bickley Script, 29 pt, and does appear on the shirt.

Thanks fer lookin'!

I don't get it, there is almost no change from the original cover of the album. You can't just draw the same picture and then call it something else

The thing about plagiarism is that anyone can do it, as shown here.

p.s.
(I googled the wor d plagiarism to get the spelling right)

Like Pink Floyd, but if I'm going to buy anything w/ their album covers on them, I'm going to buy one that actually looks cool.

I believe the proper word is appropriation, not plagiarism.

This is one of those things that....Well, I agree with everything that everyone has said. I really like the appropriation because there's such a serious disconnect between the idea of printing and Pink Floyd. It's so bad it's good, you know?

appropriation?? Borrowed my ass. He stole the desing of one of the highest selling albums of all time. Thats flat out plagiarism.

Plagiarism: the copying of someone's ideas, text or other intellectual property and claiming it at one's own.

BOOM I WIN

JImmyface -- I'm glad you checked the spelling of plagiarism, but you should've learned the meaning too.

I based the design on the album cover as I noted. But there's a new concept introduced here. The album depicts a beam of white light being split by a prism into the colours of the spectrum. This design depicts a line of registration black colour being split by a prism into its component ink colours: cyan, magenta, yellow and black. [To Montmont -- since I don't believe one can print proper registration black on a shirt, I have represented it with black alone. I'm not sure if that's what you were referring to.]

I have not just created a copy; there's something new I've done here. You may not think it's any good, or even understand it (few people would, I'm aware). There's nothing wrong with voting 0 and moving on. There *is* something wrong with making an accusation about something serious like plagiarism, and also with doing it in such an immature manner.

It's ignorance upon ignorance for you to think,"If I don't get it, then there's nothing *to* get."

And finally, because you have never submitted a design, you aren't eligible to "WIN" anything. Unless there's a prize for being a wanker. Get bent.

You seem to think that putting in registration colors is a neato completo idea. It isnt, which is why your design was pulled in one day. The reason its Plagiarism is cause if anyone saw this shirt they wouldnt be "hmmm what a great new take on that "whats their name" album", they would say "yeeeah pink floyd rocks, i will buy that shirt". Too bad too few people aren't as awesome and perceptive as you and we dont get your brilliant ideas.

P.S. Gret inside joke with print designers im sure they all want to be your friend.
