This design is based on a short flipbook I made of an angler fish exploding after his antenna becomes a fuse. Suggestions are encouraged, thanks!

this should be flipped, the explosion should be at the end. Otherwise, it's cute :-)

I did not really understand what was going on before I read what you had written about it. The antenna isn't reading as a fuse for me, but the idea is really really fun!

I'd give the fish an other colour than the shirt....you can barely see the fish on the shirt right now being that theyre both blue....

The shirt should be a lighter blue, not the same color as the fish. I like the art...little hard to see 4$

i thought an angler fish randomly exloded and his little light fell downt and landed on a whale which transformed into a an angel fish.

Actually I was debating whether I should do this horizontally or vertically, and whether I should reverse the order. I decided I wanted it to catch the eye first, then people would be drawn in to look more carefully at it.



But maybe that was a mistake and I should have left it in a more logical order!

It would make more sense if the 3rd picture had the fuse just a little bit longer. More a sense of it shortening. Good idea though.

This reminds me of Finding Nemo. I don't really like it, though.

I agree with other comments, flip it and perhaps change the antennae light a bit to look more like a fuse? I know that's not how the light looks but it might work better for what you are trying to pull off.

yup reverse order, maybe even put it in a comic book style (with boxes) otherwise it's awesome $5

it's sad that he cries tho. should it be funny? maybe take out the crying, so he's mean the whole time, so that when he blows up and dies it will be funny.

the explosion should be at the bottom...it's kindof confusing the way it is. cute, tho. ^_^

yup, reverse oder. also, the design shuld be a little bit more to the side. right now it looks like its supposed to be in the middle, its just lopsided. 5$

also, i dont like how the fish and shirt are the same color. black shirt, too. =)

okay one more comment. i dont like how in the second from last stage the fish is crying. it may be just me and it may seem weird, but it makes me feel bad and it might keep me from wearing the shirt. =(

it's completly beyond me. Surely my problem not yours, enough other people seem to understand, but I'm lost.

yea, i als o agree on inverting the order and making the tears less anime. you know what i mean. that waterfall effect. i don't think it goes, but i love this idea.

this is cute..isn't there another sub with this type of fish on it? It's in the dark but it's light is lit and little fish are swimming around it for a trap?

Haha that's amazing. I do think flipping the order and a different colored shirt might make it better though.

It would be funnier if you got rid of the crying, just make him confused the whole time. Maybe have the question mark symbol show up in the third panel instead of the second. Also, don't show a skeleton at the end. Maybe just a "BOOM!" explosion sign. Just wanted to get my two cents in.

- fish should be in a different colour than the shirt.

- it needs to be flipped since we read from top to bottom

- Angler should not be crying but maybe look surprised

- the antenna's "orb" could gradually change into a fuse-fire so the point of the shirt reads easier.



I really like the idea. but for now it has some flaws.. as people have mentioned.

I will definitely change the order if the sub doesn't do well.. and I may not make him cry. And I'll probably redraw it so it doesn't get flagged as a duplicate.



Not sure how many panels I can get away with though, so not sure how gradual the orb can change. I did like the suggestion about making the antenna more rope-like initially.. but I like the skeleton, so I think I'll keep it.



I'm also going to fill in the fish with the lighter colored blue so that it's easier to see on the shirt itself.



And yes, there is an Angler shirt (which I own), but this one's a different concept, and in a completely different style (ie cartoon vs realistic). If that's not enough to be considered original, then I am very sad! I can't really think of another fish I could use with the same idea.



I just really enjoy odd sea life.

This is hilarious and very well drawn so I'd like to see the changes made. 4 for now
