A bit smaller and without those hackneyed drips, this would be approaching a wearable shirt.

if the hackneyed drips let see the sun... but, of the only thing which it is spoken in these forums is of the hackneyed drips... and I thought that it was spoken of squirrels in daikiris...

Ive seen your site and your design work, its awesome, i just dont know if your transfering your best stuff to tee shirt design... you may need to consider your voting public here... look over whats been rated well and printed

ellsswhere: I consider absolutely EACH word, those that are to favor and those that they are in against, but for that reason I don't have to seat not-to think on the matter. Everything is too virtual like seating to me to continue watching the life to happen... Anyway, I hope you understand me

Though I rather like this tee, I fail to see why someone (who attacks pretty much anyone who does not worship his/her designs-- truly bad form) who, it seems, simply took and image from google, added some drips and had a mind of contrast should win $1000, when so many spend so much time and effort on their truly imaginative designs.

Now, Mred, I understand that you've been a Threadless member for all of 3 DAYS so, of course you feel superior to us all. Before you attack me for my above comment and leave your usual comment of "where are your designs? please show me a link so that I can see them" since you seem to also believe that anyone who has not submitted as many as you may not have an honest opinion, let me save you some time you can use to attack someone else. I have not submitted any designs. I am a photographer and a writer and pour my heart and soul into those two endevors as you do into design. That does not make me or anyone else lesser than you. I very much enjoy this site for the chance it gives to EVERYONE to submit and score, and I have spent many dollars on many shirts here-- I do not go out to shoot without wearing one, it has become a bit of a trademark. It would serve you well to respect those who critique you no matter who they are, for these are the people who decide how well you do here-- and the very people YOU asked to critique you by submitting here. If you have such a problem with that reality, please, simply stay off the site.

I do not understand what do you say... I force people to that they vote to me? NO. I force to the people to gain 1000? NO... then?

This is getting really tedious.

This whole "series" of shirts is semi-intereting visually, but seems like a one trick pony.

Zero across the board (or should i say bored).

You certainly get alot of flak for the drips you incorporate into your work. I think it works relatively well due to the stencil and spray paint look of this particular piece. I think your collection of work here looks very proffesional compared to some other stuff here at the site.

And SemantiTheft, there is nothing wrong with using reference, especially when trying to achieve a likeness of another person. Alot of the best artists in history used reference and even traced off of something.

My advice is, keep up the good work, but try to expand away a little bit, dont be a one trick pony. Keep up the good work, and take criticism with more humility. (What a first post...)

^^^^ Sarte wasn't an American, and unless I'm mistaken, most of his work wasn't originally written in English.

I like this shirt. The drips fit well.

mred, you are a genius. I admire your attitude. This site needs less bootlicking designers, and more hard-knuckled "admire my work or else" real alpha men.

great work!

By my count theres 5 French, 4 English, 2 Irish, 1 Belgian, 1 German, and zero American writers included on mred's submissions.
