Umm... The cord, the thong in his shirt, his leg, the lines in the lampshade... There's a lot here to clean up. Anti-Aliasing is your buddy.

pirate = 4. i wish there was a detail though, because i can't tell if he's the lamp or menacing the lamp. i hope he's being a menace.

you can zoom in buddy, its crispy! I think the lampshade is too large, and it draws attention away from Mr. Pirate. at least the lampshade has the skull and crossbones, though. 3

By making the lampshade that big, you've made it the most important element in the composition. There's no way anyone would guess that the pirate was going around pulling the plugs out of lamps. I can see the cute randomness of the idea but, to be honest, it's not very strong and this doesn't get it over anyway.
Still, you've demonstrated once and for all that pirates are completely played out. That's valuable, if anyone takes notice. |

Kohlhas is Joseph Allen's last name. Looking at his other work from his webpage, I'm more disappointed. The stuff there is good. This is muddled. His left hand, and right leg.. is that a belt down by his pegleg? all in all, not as though through as the images at

Eh, I don't like the color scheme at all. Although I love 'em, Pirates are pretty overdone.
