Didn't know about he reject false icons thing, but it is the same idol of pazuzu. i'm using it in reference to the excorcist though.

Captain Howdy was the persona pazuzu used to gain contact with regan in the original exorcist film.The version of the idol used in the exorcist film is kinda a pop culture icon, i thought everyone would know it.

it's showed up in various places through the years, you can see it in the party scene of the film Kiss Kiss Bang Bang(wich was what reminded me of the statue and made me wanna do this design) and i've also been told it shows up in some gorillaz material.

Style B definately has that subtle factor. I didn't notice the scary man in that one until I followed the speech bubble, and it made me jump a little, which is why I loved it. :)
