Okay, now I stuck up for the guy with the hanging horse shirt, and I was all on the "it's just a drawing" bandwagon...but, God, this just makes me want to hurt someone. I ge the idea that he ran through all sorts of things to get the frisbee back, but holy geez, why does he have to have not one, but three stab-wounds? I can't even look at this. I'm closing my eyes to vote.

i agree that the three stab wounds are a bit overkill. perhaps just one would get the message across.

I think the message conveyed here is very true... that a dog is so loyal he would do just about anything for his master. Though I could never wear a shirt showing violence to an animal, I must admitt that I think it's hilarious that you added a "TM" to "Loyalty".

See, when I looked at this sub, my first thought wasn't that he'd gone through a lot to get the frisbee... it was that he was still loyal despite all the horrible things humans do to dogs. Which is a pretty heartbreaking message. I'm actually RELIEVED if the message is just "he went through a lot to catch that frisbee." Either way, I could never wear this shirt and would never buy it. Dogs with stab wounds - no thanks.

i like it, i don't understand it at all but i like it.

yeah, i got the same thing out of it as Rahna. what i see is not necessarily a dog who went through a lot to get a Frisbee, but rather a dog that's been horribly abused, and yet remains loyal to anyone who shows it even an iota of kindness. .. even something as simple as playing frisbee with him. of course, he's also had a few humorous misadventures due to his loyalty.... leading him to become entangled with bras and toilet paper, but beyond that, the image carries some serious impact. my own dog is a stray that seems to have been abused, but is making lots of progress... and it amazes me how she is able to forgive humanity. i'd be a little hesitant to wear this as some people would probably read it the wrong way, but i wish it were hanging on my wall.

It is a great drawing and concept, and its point is probably best made as it is. But honestly, I'd only wear the weaker version sans stab wounds.

It's well drawn but it does look a bit sadistic (and not in a good way).

You cant see any blood, and he has had the pleasure in taking some woman's bikini top off so not all is bad! :D Maybe if the knife was lost and the corkscrew and fork stayed it'd be less "controversial". I get your reason for the knife/corkscrew/fork, but I'd hesistate to wear a shirt with a dog that's been stabbed on it out of fear of other people's misinterpretations. Maybe just the corkscrew in his back and a few more objects hanging off him instead -- it would keep the message and lose the sinister implications. Also, it looks like the design is a little bit too small. More detail on the disc might make it fit better.

I like the idea, but the stab wounds are a little much, especially that knife. I looks like it goes halfway through the puppy. Resubmit with out the stab wounds, nothing fatal.

It doesn't make for a good shirt IMO, but it would make a great visual for some sort of animal rights campeign. To good for PETA. (I hate PETA) I'd recomend you ofering it to a reputable organisation. It's a great peice of art that evokes a lot of emotion.
