Not a bad design, though I find it hard to believe it was actually drawn as opposed to altered in a program, but there is already a line drawing of a roaring lion printed.

This is one of the very few designs I have seen that actually work at the bottom of the shirt. I think this is great.

No, I illustrated this whole thing, no image altering programs. I don't like taking the easy way when designing.

I would prefer it light color ink on a darker shade of the same color. I.e., lt blue on navy, grey on black, etc. Did you really need the examples? Probably not, but I thought I'd expand!

Clearly the lion on "I like Lions Too" is different. First of all mine is pink and or black, that one is red. Mine has solid lines, that one has dotted lines. Lastly mine is illustrated differently and with text. So yeah its a lion, but not the same deal.

i didn't say you copied, i was implying that the ideas were so incredibly close. just because your colours and line styles are different doesn't change the fact that this is almost exactly like that tshirt. it is both a roaring lion, and there really is no idea difference.

it isn't exactly the same.
but it would be too similar to print I think. though, I almost wish this one was printed rather than the other one, this one is cooler. and people, honestly there is no reason to get up in arms about some submission. Name caling via internet will get you no where. |

I'd love to see the image brown on a gold shirt, or vise versa. Cool design... great job and I admire you for doing it all by hand. =)
Oh, and as for the people saying it looks too much like that other design... so what? Roaring lions are a pretty common icon, and this one is line drawn not with dashed lines. The styles of both are also different enough that the image obviously wasn't ripped off. Don't hate this design based on a coincidence. |

I would like to see greater colors, there is a great chance for contrast here. It kind of looks like something I could get at the mall... Still good try. 4
