Actually, this sides with the lefties of the world, as they are considered to use the right side of the brain. So your 'lefty bore' dad wins this round! Great design and concept...although it might confuse the righties a little bit. They'll probably buy it and not even know that they are, instead, promoting lefties :)

I dunno. As a solidly left-brained person I wouldn't wear this shirt. I wholehearted appreciate that this world needs both types so I find the "no contest, right beats left every time" thing unrealistic.

I can't figure out what the fuss is about:
The right side of the brain controls the left hand, and is said to handle all the creative processes, intuition, &c. The left side controls the right hand and logical processes. So if the shirt is left (brain) vs. right (brain), and thus says the right (brain) with its color and implusiveness beats the stolid left brain, where's the problem with the facts? In other news: four because I like it a great deal, but I'd never buy it (I'm a thorough blend of the two sides, though right-handed, and it appeals to strongly to the martyr-complexed "artsy" kids at my school). |

Most people think political when they see somethin' like this. Good concept, but maybe try to redesign it so that you don't need the little disclaimer?

Black and white photos? The beauty of science? Fractals? The human spirit supercedes fact? Which is why the world is painting instead of starving and fighting? I'm all pro-creativity and all... I guess I'm just not the right audience for this shirt. The design's alright, though. |

I like the concept, but fall into the left category. I also automatically thought this was a political statement, just because I hear left and right associated with politics more than anything else these days. I fall into the left category there too.... and god forbid anyone think otherwise if i wore this shirt *grin*

I'm a left-handed person who uses the left side of my brain more apperantly because I find fact > fantasy.
Oh well, to each their own. I think a picture of a brain may make the message more clear. Otherwise it first strikes as a political statement and second as a "Haha, righties are better than lefties!". |

people that are left-handed have more of a chnce to think with the right side of their brain, and vice versa, I'm left-handed, and I draw, when you use the right side of your brain, it makes you think in more of shape instead of how things are "supposed to look," which uses your left side. I find it easier to use my right side than my left side...I'm not sure...my art teacher told me it was because of opposition...but I'm just saying that right DOESN'T ALWAYS prevail over left...because of opposition...but you still get a 5 for being creative... =]

i understood it right away.
but in my opinion, balace is needed. not just "right is better than left. end of story.", so i wouldnt buy it. besides, i have recently come to terms with the fact that i'm more left brained. (although i think i have a decent amount of right-ness in there too) |
