I'm an atheist, too. I think it's interesting. I don't understand why people need religion to teach them morals instead of learning decency on their own.

Lots of wars did spring from religious differences, yes.

not buddhism. Its the only one though. Theres been wars between buddhists, but not about buddhism.



But in general religion does seem to screw evrything up. I mean i break religion down into three parts.



1) theres spiritual disiplin( like meditation or abstinence from somthing bad) and that is good



2)then theres comunity. and thats good



3) and then theres the dogma (all the shit your suposed to believe usualy starting with "this is the only right religion") and thats bad and what starts all the contriversy and hatred.

I have a problem with this design. Religion does not = to war. You should have some tolerance and be open to ideas. :(

money is responsible for a lot of wars. should we get rid of the monetery system?

the truth is, it's not our differences that cause conflict, it's our inability to embrace and celebrate those differences.



similarly, it's not our religions that cause the wars, it's the intolerant people who can't stand any religion but their own.
