actually i like it jo. i think get rid of the outer border since the branch blends into the shirt. otherwise i like the focus on the squirrel.

it looks pretty cool, but the squirrel looks kinda dead instead of asleep. Maybe some ZzZz's to differentiate?

This is a great first submission. I love it, but am bothered by the tan outline around eveything. I would rather see sharp edges made the colours alone, as you have done with the branch upon which your squirrel (dreamlessly?) slumbers.

I don't want to sound mean, but! I can't really understand the squirrel's face. I can't tell if he is facing down with his paw over his face..is that it? It is a really cute idea though.The green looks really good. Also it doesn't need an outline, it would be more effective without it.

what i don't like is that you included the original picture that looks like it was run through a filter... and the tan outline is distracting and boxy

the forest green looks good, but i think the squirrel needs to be a bit bigger so you can tell its a squirrel and not like a bird nest or something.

Nice design of a pretty unique concept. I agree with the squirrel looking more dead than asleep, although I can't recal ever seeing a sleeping squirrel so my opinion shouldn't count for much. And I like the outline. It gives more shape to the tree branch and effectively frames the slumbering rodent.

i'd lose the tan border and complete the outer leaves, fading them into the shirt. also change the shirt colour to a darker brown

The squirrel needs to be curled up. He does look dead. Otherwise, I like it. Very mellow.

The squirrel should be bigger and look more like it is an actual alive creature...
maybe curl the tail in? lose the outine and finish off the edges of the leaves... it is a good first... |
