funny just talking about this in biology last week...and i thought it would never apply to life. thanks for changing my mind 5

Thanks for all of the comments :)
Roostersauce: I guess that's kind of the point? Lamarck's theory of evolution was the inheritance of acquired characteristics over generations. |
I think it'd be better if the legs got longer, too; the last one looks a little wonky because of the long neck and short legs.
Gunst, I like it better this way. It implies that evolution is still going on (and was at that time).

haha, cute. gotta show my friend this, she's OBSESSED with giraffes.
and it looks best on the yellows, khaki, and brown btw. |
I absolutely love this design! I think it would help if you put a tall tree or something that explains why the giraffe's neck is getting longer (per Lamarck).

I hope that yellow is not a too strong contender as the background (it's a hard color for Asians to wear).

wooh hoo to biology jokes ;P
it's cute and all but... if i didn't read any of the text, i wouldn't have figured it was a reference to lamark |

owen skyser-gray is right.
this could just as easily be darwinian, if each giraffe was a new generation. it should be more clear that the giraffe is streching. |
As scientifically innacurate as this shirt is, I still think it's adorable. Heh, and yeah, I agree with owen up there. It doesn't perfectly illustrate the principle...but anyway yes, I like it. $4
