I agree with everyone else that the drawing is amazing but the grotesqueness of this drawing would keep me from buying and I think pretty much everyone here has said the same thing. I know it's your art but I'm just going to throw out a suggestion here that maybe you try to design something that is a little less... gross [?] and you could totally get something printed because this is the kind of superb drawing skill that I think a lot of us would like to see printed.

You're obviously a very talented illustrator, but I think this design is pretty vulgar. I wouldn't wear it and I don't know anyone who would, though it is very well drawn.
So basically, I'd like to see more designs from you with a slightly lower gross-out factor. I don't mind freaky, but disgusting is another matter. |

Well, this is a great design, but it's a rip-off from Alan Aldridge's illustrations for "Anne in the Moon" by Frances D. Francis, a fantasmagoric children's novel from the mid-70's. You'd be familiar with his work illustrating Beatles albums. You can see some of his style at www.alanaldridge.com

But seriously, theres virtually nothing about this "Annie on the Moon" on google, I'd love to see the image I'm ripping off. Anyhow, thanks for the Alan Aldridge comparison, I've never actually heard of him before, but he has fantastic work. But I honeslty don't see ANY similarities with his work and mine...he's much better. Cheers.
