A tribute to Maurits Cornelis Escher and his natural genius in tesselation.

Follow-up to my original Anomaly submission, this time combining the black sheep and white crow elements into a tesselation. Skewness is intended and integrates the theme of the design.

I think this is a nice design, but it doesn't really work as a tshirt.

i meant to say specificly look at cat and bird. i think that is what you are going for : )

I have a complete interlocking version of this, but I submitted it to Naked and Angry. I was going for a fade crow, fade sheep effect here., as in Escher's fishes and birds versions. Please view my profile for color options.

If it was just the image I would totally buy this because something about the text just kind of ruins for me. But, still it's Escher and I love me some Escher. So you still get a 5 from me.

I like the image, but it doesn't make a good shirt.

i dont like how the animals dont cange into eachother, theyre just sorta.. small to big. you expect it to be morphin, but then really look at it and get disapointed

I like your design and it's very well done, but when you changed the sizes it turned into something not much like a tesselation at all. It really is a good idea though:) 3

How about for pattern? I think its nice for a pattern.

I like Escher too, so my sympathies are with you, but the execution is just off. You're not anamalous if there are a bunch more like you, right? I get the "white crow, black sheep" idea, but unfortunately there's no way to tell they're crows, they just look like seagulls or something. So the point gets lost. And there's something off about the sheep - maybe the ears? They look too smooth and humpbacked.

i like the idea, but its only really like a tesselation in a row or two in the middle... also the birds' beaks look a little too big and awkward
