ctrl + z = undo, there is a car crash on the shirt...I dont understand the Antique Roadshow part though.

I think Antique Roadshow is referring to the show on PBS. Thus, someone brought this classic threadless shirt to the show to be appraised. If it needs this much explaination, it's not going to work. Also, that shirt isn't even retired even if it is well known to threadless folk.

I'd say just submit the shirt that's in the picture. The Antique Roadshow reference just isn't working. If it were an old shirt, saaaaaaay a DARE shirt or something, then the ARS thing would work but right now it's too much of an awkward stretch.

The idea is way too much a Threadless in-joke and the execution needs a lot of work. It's clearly got effort and thought behind it, though, and that's a good way to start.

ctrl + z was one of the shirts printed here 'back in the day'; hence the antique roadshow idea.

Nice idea but poorly done. How come none of you remember Ctrl+Z by Ben??

I got it for sure, but it's too much of an inside joke. Only Threadless people would get it, and it would be annoying trying to explain it over and over and over.

LOL @ whoever said "just submit the shirt that's in the picture"

Still, poor message, that shirt's not old.

^^That's the case with 60% of the shirts on threadless. Only some get them, the rest of the time your explaining them... That's why they are great!

I actually like the idea behind this one! :) Maybe you should add a little calendar or somthing with it in like year 2025 or write on the banner, ANTIQUE ROADSHOW, 2025 or somthing so it would make slightly more sense with that shirt design... Maybe you shouuld replace CTRL+Z with NEFKIN or other old shirts... Regardless, I love the idea, and execution isn't really that bad.

Self references = huge indie cred.

Very nice.

not many people around here know about threadless, let alone CTRL+Z

Funny but poorly done, and the shirt there looks barely like the real one, not that it matters but still.

I got it immediately, and I think it's great. But I agree with simster: Antique Roadshow 2025 (or even a later date so it is 'truly' antique) sounds pretty sweet.

"well Norman we can see here that it's an original design, and that is worth quite a bit"...

"however the difficulty in understanding might not draw much bidder attention should it go to auction"

"and the quality of the design is clearly amateur, which may decrease its value"

"but wait! the signature in the corner, just under the table's left leg, clearly identifies it as belonging to the late Bill Gates! A gem of a find, and in such good condition!"

But Norman, I'm going to have to value it at $2.....just too much of an in joke...
