i noticed something wrong.
unicorn are now extinct because of poachers killing them for their horns. despite their magical powers they were nothing compared to modern technology. thus, that unicorn shouldn't be there. hahah $5 good job |

I'm drawn to it in a strange way. I don't know why. It reminds me of pictures books i used to have when i was little. At first I thought I wouldn't like it because it was so little-kid-ish, but now I don't know. Hm. It's good...

In some ways, I like how the unicorns are there. Some how it catches people's eyes around places where people usually just view things as a whole. Its almost like "where's waldo" the animal alphabet version... Are you coming out with a Cereal perhaps?

The ideas good, but:
-It looks awkward to have only the heads of the moose and elephant and the whole bodies of everything else. -Why does the zebra silhouette have stripes? -The Bird has no legs -The gorilla looks like it's humping something. -If you're going to use unicorn you should also use dragon and other fantasy animals I love the narwhal, though. |

ibakedesign on Feb 14 '06 Being able to identify the animal immediately is important; utilizing with/without the entire body shape was not a design issue, rather a compositional one. Birds don't always stand. What's a zebra if it has no stripes. Gorillas hump over. It doesn't hurt to be playful with an animal like the unicorn, also considering the fact there are a few number of good looking u-creatures.

hahaha, personally i love the unicorn being there. the design as a whole caught my attention 'cause i liked identifying the different animals, and then when i got to the unicorn i just cracked up. thanks for the good laugh :) :)
And besides, this is one of the most comprehensive lits of animals that start with the letter U that i could find: http://www.enchantedlearning.com/painting/u.shtml given the pretty entirely un-identifiable alternatives, i say definitely stick with the unicorn. besides, the unicorn is hillarious. i don't think the zebra needs any stripes -- it's pretty obvious with the Z on it.. but if you insist on stripes, why only three and why on his ass? |

your zebra looks like an okapi, with the stripes being only on its hind legs. also, it doesn't make sense to me to have a narwhale and whale, and quail and bird on the shirt.

ibakedesign on Feb 15 '06 Overall, it makes sense that it thematically involves animal forms besides all other things which you identity by the initial letter on its form; it's ok to be random and it's important that you can guess the form by letter. It's not an okapi if it begins with z.

I think I saw unicorns in Disney in Florida as well as a San Diego Zoo. I know a lot of Zoos sell Unicorn figures cuz they are part of an exhibit. If I see a shape of a narwhale, I would think of it as a narwhale. If I see any other whales I would think of it as a whale. I can telle difference from humming bird, quail, roosters, ostriches and penguins. All the rest are birds. I think thsi tshirt makes sense to my abilities as well as kids abilities.

HOW THE HELL IS THAT AN X-RAY FISH?????? X-ray fish are small, freshwater, and can fit in GD fish tank!!! By the way...great design...I think I'd actually buy this. And dont worry about the unicorn...if somebody doesnt like the unicorn, they arent going to buy this shirt in the first place.

I ike the unicorn. I like tt they are all close to each other. else it'd look like a kid's shirt. v nice. just fix the moose and elephat head. it makes it inconsistant.
I once saw a very bad kids shirt with all sorts of weird animals. especially since it was made with the intention to teach kids. but in this case, the unicorn makes things way funnier. reminds me of biblical disaster... |

R is for Rhinoceros, which would've fit nicely with the unicorn and narwhal because of the horns, and since they are almost extinct, would've reminded us to pray for them. Well, at least not poach them.
