+1 to dropping the water and words. Also face the robot opposite the direction of forward motion - it looks awkward and not ready for rowing like this.

Robots are done a lot these days, so something has to be really clever or outstanding or cute to catch my eye. Unfortunately, this isn't any of those things.

hey music lover, you should have meant something has to be "pretentious" to really catch your eye. robots longing for a heart that's fallen on the ground must be what you find cute, not something original like this drawing. and good wordplay is clever-- just ask your english teacher. i'm really offended that you attacked this in the manner you did, and it's not even my design.
