I love the song. I also like that from far away, at first glance, it sorta looks like blood or ketchup but then when you get up close, hahaha, they're just balloons you silly. $5 and now you've put me in the mood to listen to that song.

Make the balloon ties more defined, right now it just looks like red dots if you're far away, you can't see the ties at all. The color scheme is nice, but maybe vary the shade of red between ballons, lighter red for ones far away, possibly?

actually, bitta2sweet, the original German song wasn't about red balloons at all! just balloons.
the "red" was added to the English version just for an extra syllable. so it wouldn't be less genuine, although i guess i can see where you're coming from -- spoon-fed Anglaphones wouldn't "get" it. that being said, the German version of that song is amazing, wheras the English "translation" loses a lot and is patronizingly stupid. rant over -- the design's pretty dang cool. |

mmmm.....
bad color thinking (not white! and why light blue? as it works so well in so many other colors) (perfect design for threadless to pick and do their magic to). bad presentation, too. whatever that little weiner thing is in the bottom right of the design, it makes the shirt look less interesting that it would otherwise. still, a great idea. even if it's random, the balloons are placed well. thanks. |

you know what is sad? I was first introduced to this song by playing the grand theft auto vice city video game. But nevertheless, a great song...good idea, but I think the balloons look a little like bloodsplatters on the picture with the guy pulling the rope, which kinda freaks me out. It looks like he's straining so hard blood is actually coming out of his pores and soaking his shirt, but then again, i haven't slept for a while...

definitely a fan of the song(s), and i like the design. however there are significantly more than 99 red balloons (yes, I counted), and i'm afraid that ruins the whole thing for me.
