About my design

by JudeLane
I wanted to do something with more of an overt message this time around. So I hate the gas sucking H2 & 3 and here is an environmental David vs. Goliath. Down with wasteful vehicular devices!!

Although I like the message, the execution is poor.

If the hummer was animated like Goliath I think the design would work a little better. Right now it looks like poor Goliath is just going to get mowed over....kinda seems like a pro hummer shirt.

In the story of David & Goliath, granitescam, David was not even half the size of Goliath thus the size difference. Thanks for the comments thus far

maybe david should be a hippie on a bike to contrast the mode of transportation difference......wait...what was I talking about ?

so is the whole illustration shown or is the sling cut off? I think maybe you dont even need david- maybe a big red x or something

Change the placement. I'm tired of people trying to enhance their design by putting it off center. It just looks weird on me. 4

Although I'm an outspoken capitalist, sometimes American consumerism can drive me nuts. We live waaaay to excesively (we as a society, anyway). Although I consider most environmentalists, like the Sierra Club, to be fascists for their cause I believe we need to care for our environment. It's one of the many responsibilities God bestowed onto mankind. I'm trying to see the symbolism of David here as environmentalist, but I'm not getting it. Maybe, instead of a boy, you have the hummer pelted by a flock of sea gulls that are pissed off at the damage done to their environment and they're taking dead aim on the gas guzzling behemoth. Now excuse me while I get into my Denali for the cruise home.

way to long to get to the punchline.....

I don't think you need David. The message is better without him. Plus, he defeated Golith with a sling-shot, I believe.

Ok i must say that on the David vs Goliath, the ideas of chaingeing it to a red x or seagulls (however funny) dont make sence, the point is that it is a david and Goliath story in how big gass guzzlers are the Goliath. it dosent make much sence with out David... as he is kinda one of the Main points...

Also a sling and a sling shot are two diffrent tings, David defeated Goliath with a sling (as it was one of the two most common wepons for sheperds to have, along side a staff) some people and even maby some translations of the Bible(although i dont know which translation) might say that it was a sling shot, but personaly i think a Sling is most logical...

ok enough of my rantings.
