Go to your local redneck gas station and pick up one of those black all-over print shirts. You know the ones with all the lightning and a big ass tiger or bass on the front. You'll recognize it because it matches every other article of clothing you own. |

I love this illustraition, I think the execution is just beautiful. I would love to see the robot in a mute ivory or medium grey and the crown in a mute gold or mustard color to blend well with the kaki. This submission FLAT OUT ROCKS and I'd buy it in a friggin heart-beat. 5$, I love this t-shirt.

I'm totally crackin up at StupidOstrich and everyone's [namely Fish's] comments afterwards.
However, I totally disagree with nommo and the comment about the animals, because I think it's obvious that they're in two different styles. And I'm guessing that's why people don't like it. Not because we like the wolves and eagles airbrushed onto dark tie-dyed shirts that read either Wisconsin Dells or Smokey Mountains on them. Although those are pretty schweet, too. |

yeah, the clean lined, solid-colored face, robot and crown are in a totally different style than the shaded, textured animals, which is why i'm assuming some people are saying they only like them. i still find nommo's comment hilarious though

you guys should realize how much you all just sound like jerks when scrolling through this. namecalling is really, really pointless.
at any rate, i think the reason people are saying that they don't care for some elements is that the face and crown do need a little work. the difference in styles is obviously intentional, and i think the robot is very successful. it, however, has one thing the face and crown don't - depth. the crown doesn't really read as round, and i think the head falls apart from the nose down, in the jaw and chin structure. i'd love to see a slightly reworked version of this. |

this illustration reminds me of a niel gaimen drawing for somereason, but i love it, I think some subtle modelling on the crown would help, but aside from that, I think your golden.
