i had that little car!

whenever i got bored with it i'd flip it over and like lay on the roof and pretend it was a space ship...

i had that box too.

the wheels look off

the bumper should go over the front...

i think i said that right.

-k.

This reminds me of that game we used to play, the one where we lather the baby in olive oil and played catch. Good times, good times.

dear god.. that is an ugly baby. and its a commonly known irony & yet i dont feel it warrants a shirt. really. kinda... just... blah. i don't know.

That baby is a little scary, but I love the concept. The colors are also very good.
LaBing
LaBing on Feb 01 '06
Why do you even need the little car? ou could have just labeled the box as the baby's toy. And yes the baby is a little scary and ugly, I think it is the mustard color used, try a blue/purple color to create a more natural shadowed look, instead of that mustard.

cute. but not for a shirt. unless it was for my mom--then maybe.

The cars needed because thats the car that almost every single kid recieves. I know I had one.
Ste7en
   Ste7en on Feb 01 '06
the car is also there for the juxtaposition in design, it makes it visually clear the child is passing on the real toy for the box, instead of just showing that children like to play in boxes.
LaBing
LaBing on Feb 01 '06
Fine keep the car, but re-draw it so it doesn't look like it is about to fall apart and make the baby less scary. I still don't think this will make a good shirt, the subject matter just doesn't seem like a good idea.

I would never wear it on a shirt.

Good idea for a newspaper funny though?

As a kid, I lived by the box.

As an adult, I now live in a box.

I would like it more if the baby was engaged with the box, playing with it and not looking off into the distance. And the car could maybe be on it's side, so it's more clear that it's been abandoned?
Ste7en
   Ste7en on Feb 03 '06
that is a good suggestion

oh man... it is late...

at first, I was like, "what the? babies don't come in boxes!!"

also, how did the baby end up with Mayor McCheese's personal automobile?
