The most surprising fact about the peruvian winged llama is that, despite its large and lavish wings, it is entirely incapable of flight. Why then does Mother Nature allow these beasts such extravagant plumage? Has Mister Darwin led us astray? Far from it! The winged llamas' wings are key to its survival in many other ways. They are used to keep cool in the devastating peruvian heat, as well as to fend off the winged llamas' chiefest natural enemy: the vicious fanged salamander.

Unfortunately, due to the industrialization of Peru, the winged llama is on the verge of extinction. There is nothing we can do to save it (for who can stand in the way of progress?) but at least we can still keep its memory alive - in t-shirt form. Vote five dollars!
