it was a vector tracing of a pencil drawing that I did of anubis for a book report ages ago that I happened upon whilst going through some old papers. It looks copy/psted because it's clean and there really aren't a whole lot of variations in the image of anubis much anyways.

Maybe you could add a translation? I don't think most of us read heiroglyphs anymore.

i really like it, i love any egyptian crap too, i even like the stupid mummy action flicks starring brendan frazier and rachel weisz....but secretly i don't think those movies are crap because I like them, but your anubis is not crap...it is good.

It would be so funny if all he was saying was 'Bark, bark, bark!' The drawing is nice and very detailed, I just like to add a bit of humor. Good Job!

Definitely needs another color, maybe something asphalty or purple-ish. On a darker color, I'd give it a $.

The heiroglyphs don't mean anything. From what I can tell, they're mostly drawings of the Egyptian gods seated in profile....and last time I checked,that wasn't the way to spell out anything in ancient Egyptian :)

anubis's head is a bit distorted. I like the original jackal head better.
