i would say the head does look like mr rogers, and if anything it's slightly too big for the body but that doesn't matter. the blue and the yellow shirt clash like whoa.
thanks for all the crits and comments so far. this is my first attempt at designing a shirt for threadless. i am by no means a flash wizard. and im a little dissappointed with the likeness and i thought of putting some catch phrase or something that would make him more easily identifiable but it just looked cheesy when i tried it. anyway, thanks for the comments and votes so far. i will be doing more designs in the future and hopefully you will see some improvement. i wish i had put sneakers on him! that would have rocked!
for the record:
ol' fred rogers has no "D" in his last name. as tempting as it is to spell it 'mr. rodgers' it is in fact spelled 'mr. rogers'
he is my lord and savior.
Mr. Rogers rocks but I'm not feeling the shirt.. the Jesus comparison isn't that funny and the illustration is too pale, the grey outline should be much darker and the face looks weird.
i had a maths teacher in yr 7 called mr rogers... i dont think he was better than jesus.... i dont think he could walk on water, and he had a BAD temper... but he had one of those old poker machines in his class room. i dont know if that counts for anything...
I like it, except the shirt color. I guess I like any parody of Jesus, but I really loved Mr. Rogers...hard to say why it strikes me so. One thing for certain, though: I'm really sick of the phrase "cut and paste" as it's used to criticize design on this site. Its' such a generalization, and smells of an author rooted in the software, not design priciples. Why not just call it "Busy", or maybe a sudden case of the "Mondays".
He is wearing marry's cloths jackass, not to mension this is a stupid idea in the first place. Mr. Rogers was an awesome guy, and I'm sure he would hate the idea of this.

The head looks too small on the body, maybe it's just me though.

Mr. Rogers is not better than Jesus. Mr. Rogers IS Jesus.

At first, I thought it was Nixon... and it's still weird to think that Mr. Rogers was in the US Marine Corps.
ziggystardust
where are the sneakers?
fergi

Doesn't work. Too copy and paste like. Also, I couldn't tell who that was until I read the title. Muy confusing. Love the idea though. Needs work.

the great joining of two very overdone trends:
the childhood idol + jesus.
lame. sorry.

helladelightful
um this is kinda sad...
mr. rogers died and so it is kinda weird.
my mom spoke at his funeral and this doesn't give him justice. the heads weird...you cant tell who it is
facetious
Mr. Dressup was better than Mr. Rogers. He made crafts. But I guess Mr. Rogers was okay too. I think this would be better on a not-yellow shirt.

while the name of the shirt is true, perhaps just an image of Mr. Rogers with a halo over his head would have been more appropriate
call it Saint Mr. Rogers...
hmmmm, maybe I'll submit that...
rrich76
metalshoes is right that mr rogers wouldnt go for this. me either.

Finally a shirt for those of us who grew up with him (Mr. Rodgers) as our role model! PRINT IT!

Mr Rogers scared me then and scares me now. Especially since he's in Mary's garb.
He needs shoes. Any of the many pairs that he changed when he came in the house would do.
Caracolita
Shouldn't it be called, won't you be my savior?
