I don't think thats how the fingers would look when crossed....
try crossing your fingers and comparing it to the image
I think the middle finger crosses over the pointer finger if you can see the two bent fingers...

How observent of you, Lesquelette. Even though it is possible to cross the fingers both ways, you are correct. I did the illustration both ways and for some reason it was more aestheticly pleasing to me the way you see it.

Putting it at an angle would be a good touch-- place your hand behind your back and cross your fingers, ... if your fingers reach your wasitline, then your elbow is not straight.

Still, lovely concept.
