I own two cats and sometimes I wonder if they ever dream of being a pirate.
They also pull off those cat moves that should by all rights be imposible, thats why the cat is dancing / skipping

your robot shirt style was better than this one. rework it and remove the pirate theme.

i like the drawing quite a bit... particularly if you were to relocate the tail just the teensiest bit.

however, the font needs to be a fun happy font, i think, for this to really work.

the feathers are a different colour cause its the shadow of the parrot.
