xiv on Jan 18 '06 The shadow isnt necessary. It actually looks out of place. This would also look good if it were located on the far right of left side of the chest area of the shirt. Id also work on some other color options though, im not convinced that the current one is the best for this design.

No no no...a complete copy of the full bleed shirt; thought you'd get it passed us huh Ronin60? I think not--you'd have to get up pretty early to fool me. just kidding--I even like this one a bit more than the fullbleed one; I think they should print it even though it is a total rip-off.

i wouldnt call it a total rip off. it is not like anyone has the rights to the idea of a piano falling out of a window...it might have been inspired by that shirt but seeing as this one references charlie and the other one doesnt combined with the difference in pianos and overall design...I think this one stands on its own...

Ronin60 on Jan 18 '06 actually haven't seen that design before although it doesn't surprise me that there's a design of a piano falling on someone considering its such a typical gag used in slapstick cartoons and films; theres probably one using an anvil aswell somewhere.
The key idea I had for the piece was to have the rope thats pulling the object, forming the man that it's about to hit. cooky_monsterr, the reason why chaplin isnt coloured in is because he's made from rope. |

awww id totally buy it. but i agree with whoever said up there ^ that it would look better on the dar right or left of the shirt. not right in the middle. but i do like it a whole lot.

I'm not sure you can really say this is too close to a Fullbleed shirt though. The piano-falling concept isn't exactly brand new, it's not like Rob Dobi started it. This is a nice play on it. |

I would have done it all in black & white, and left the yellowish color out of it. . . . other than that, I love it. I find anything to do with Charlie Chaplin fantastic. Now how about a Buster Keaton one or maybe one of Harold Lloyd hanging off of a building, for all of us silent film fans. . . . i know you're out there. . . .
