that's the most cracked out squirrel I've ever seen!

... well. My original...and aparently boring caption was "who are you calling crazy"

(apparently boring because when I had a poll on what the caption would be...it got nothing.)

Is the text "mine! nut yours" printed on the actual t-shirt? If not, it really should be!! :D SO CUTE!! $5

Ya it could say "Hands off the nuts!" but it's ok

I'm likin' the squirrel... but I don't really like the words. I think it'd be cooler without 'em, plus, I think the phrase is overused... 3

I would be ok with changing the text to "MINE! NUT YOURS!" ...if
1) it gets picked....(and threadless wants me to )
2) if I resub it if it doesn't....

Ps- I included the different font and the alternate options ...in case people like it better...although i don't know how I'm supposed to tell what caption people like better...

Ummmm I'm pretty sure I've seen this shirt before... have you seen the horrible remake of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory? I'm almost positive they've made shirts JUST like this, only without the huge eye... if you can't be original at least don't copy someone else...

I guess I can't seem to find a site with the shirt... and I do agree that you did a wonderful job making your shirt Seraph and I commend you for that, but I swear I've seen a few girls wearing it before. Nice illustration though.

Well- its not copied off anything...except my notebook doodles from class- but I'll be the first to admit that its not the most original idea out there (I mean...squirrels and nuts...been together for eons right?)

yeah, the nuts euphamism has been worn a little thin. the drawing is grade A- though.

(Cus honestly...i dont'usually shop for clothes at Target...so i really wouldn't know what target has on their tees.)

I already said it wasn't a "new" idea cus nuts and squirrels have been together sinvce before I can remember- just my spin on it.

I guess no text might be okay too... (maybe better judging from what most of you are saying) I'm not very good with text and I'm not completely satisfied with the text (either text caption or font actually) but it was the best I could do...else it would just be a random mad/crazy squirrel...which I guess could be kinda fun to have on a shirt 0_0 hmm....rabbid squirrel..sure why not?

ok first thing: remake of charlie and the choc factory was not horrible. burton is god. secondly, on to the shirt: mine, nut yours is better...no text is best :)
the squirrel's little crack-addict face is oddly precious though :D

I seen a shirt like this before, it had a squirrel on it but it didn't look like that. it had a similar phrase too.

i think what trotsky was saying is that the shirts at target were lame & cliche & unoriginal. just like this one.

and in all honesty... that "eye" thing doesnt look like an EYE. it looks like the creator of THE RING vandalized your shirt.

my would have been worse... but for some odd reason I'm actually quite cheerful (sleep deprivation)... They found contact explosive chemicals in my lab... been there since the 70's but the bomb squad has to come and take it away tomorrow...LOL and yet- they want me to stay and work. (shhh...I'm "working")

This is my first sub...so i chose an idea that was more mainstream (which i guess borders/crosses cliche...)

My original doodle was from before I saw the movie- but I didn't have time to make a digital version until this break because I've been busy.

Ignore the text- its no longer there...and check out my blog instead... because I kinda like my re-work of the "cracked up" squirrel... (dont' worry its different.... and I am pretty sure this one isnt' doing so well...so ^_^ - keep trying? )

Get rid of the words and I'd buy it.

well...originally thats why I added it...but most people dont' like it so... ^__^;; I really don't know.

i LOVE the squirrel, but the bubbly text seems out of place, or totally unnecessary.

Again..I haven't been to a Hot Topics Store for a long time- so excuse me-I didn't know they had similar shirts- If I had known perhaps I would have chosen a differnet design to go with for a first submission or a different time to do this one.

(but I have to say...)
It is just a buggy eyed squirrel...sheesh~ People get so worked up over nothing 0__o (cus honestly- I don't uderstand the immense hatred over something as silly as *a text* or a picture *of a squirrel*...Now if my shirt had advocated clubbing baby seals to death- or something controversial like abortion, the war in Iraq, religion, or whether guacamole should ever be made with lemons (umm...too much food network this weekend...)...then I'd understand the outrage. =P )

Like I said- It was a doodle in my notebook that I made during class sometime middle of last spring of a buggy-eyed squirrel. I had some extra time during the break and thought-what the heck- why not try threadless out and see how the process runs/what to expect from scoring.

What I've learned from my first submision:
~I'm sorry that I relied on the advice of my peers instead of my own design intuition to chose the caption
~ I'm sorry that a squirrel reminds you of Willy Wonka's chocolate factory scene and that you think that's what I based this one off of.
(because I didn't base the doodle on the movie... its a SUIRREL...its umm...based on those littel furry,crazy, sometimes-vicious-nut-throwing animals that live in tree?...ie...a Squirrel?)

okay, even though you got rid of the text, i like the text... but would have liked it better if it said "mine, nut yours"

made me think of "the emperor's new groove" squirrel, as opposed to the willy wonka squirrel. squeak squeaken sqeak squeaker. you owe me a new acorn.
