the pollution part is beautiful, but the lungs suck comparitively... they don't look very real, even cartoony-real.

Yea, I may do a redo of this once my illustrator skills improve. But thanks for the comments, everyone!

i love it, needs some re-arranging though. try the pollution parts above the lungs. maybe top left. and then the lungs might work mid-center. needs more cigarrettes other than that subtle one. but i really do like it.

Pink, yellow, white, blue, green = 5 colours. It also looks bigger than the maximum size of 13" square.

   Skipper6745 on Jan 17 '06
Oh crap...how did those 5 colors slip by?

Let's not get hung up on technicalities, people, they wouldn't have accepted it had it been out of the question. Please vote on design and stop being the design police.

needs a bit of cleaning up, but it's refreshing and the extreme colors are interesting. not sure if i could pull off wearing it, though

i like the colors, too bad you can't use all 5. you're really evolving, skip....!

I think it's perfect as far as looks...but the placement I'm kinda confused on. The lungs are where I'd expect to see lungs but then why would the pollution message be around the stomach/intenstines area? I'd have no problems buying and wearing it. 5$

Just have the polution part and remove the lungs
Kaleidoscope*swe*
Kaleidoscope*swe* on Jan 17 '06
and well i will vote it down for having 5 colours because its a lot easier making a design with 5 colours than it is with 4 so its kind of a challenge.

This is dumb and political. Nuclear Power is the future, get over it, and it is the most environmentally friendly thing there is. Get your facts straight, and actually think for yourself rather than be a dumb liberal that repeats and beleives everything that is fed to them. And by the way, ever think of what comes out of the smoke stacks of a nuclear power plant. STEAM. (H2O in its gas state, ever heard of it?) Yeah, that really pollutes our world. No, wait, sorry, it does nothing.
Skipper6745
   Skipper6745 on Jan 18 '06
I'm not liberal, just had a quick idea for a shirt. Don't really care about pollution, as much as it seems stupid to say that.

hmmm why are the nuclear power plants there

other than them i love the design

but i dont understand why theyre there

I am misinformed, that's true. Not a hippie, though.

Why does Threadless bother having rules about size and colour if they are going to allow a t-shirt which breaks one, if not two of the rules?

I have nothing agianst this t-shirt design or Threadless, I'm just confused about the lack of consistency in the use of the entry guidlines.

Hmm...

I rather like the nuclear plants; they add a retro feel reminiscent of anti-nuclear activism of the late '70s. Besides, those who were alive when Chernobyl blew know that nuclear energy, despite its advantages, isn't a risk-free proposition. The fact that the steam escaping from those cartoonish stacks COULD be contaminated with radioactive material due to a plant accident makes them fit right in along with the factories and cars.

I'd say to ditch the lungs.

I absolutely love the shirt, and it's a great concept, but I'm not sure I'd wear something with huge lungs on it.

I adore the pollution bit though, its gorgeous.

i think... it would be cool if it was just the lungs or just the factories pollution stuff, or put one on the front or the other on the back... that would be cool... yup.
