Penguins suck.
If it was, iunno, the coca-cola bear pushing in the penguin to take his soda, well, then, maybe we could achieve creativity, but wow. This is just another forgettable design. |

mikemills on Jan 16 '06 I realize penguins dicking with other penguins isn't exactly an original concept on Threadless or anywhere else, but no, this shirt isn't based on someone else's idea. My last sub was kinda heavy - just trying to lighten things up.

I got warm and fuzzy seeing memento do so well, so I figured I'd show people I could do funny dead birds, too. What the hell. It's a redo anyways. But people saying I lifted the idea from somewhere else?
I've watched the video, I acknowledge the resemblance (they're punguins, for crying out loud), but can I just say right now this has nothing to do with that movie and not have to hear about it any more? Thanks all. |

ya this is good stuff. it may be a resub but it's an improvement from before. great clean lines is what vector illustration is all about.

Thanks man - it's cool. I came home, opened up a bottle of Golden Monkey, threw on some Abba (Waterloo - arguably one of their best albums) and put the penguin hell devils to rest.

I too like the horns on the lightbulb. Since you have them, you don't need the words. In fact, the shirt would work better without them. 4.

i agree with whoever mentioned above about t-shirts being good conversation starters, this would be a great tee if printed, and i highly doubt that anyone who saw you wear it would say, "im just tired of penguins" or "you lifted this from a video game" or "the lightbulb look like the mooks logo". please people if its funny great, if its executed well, even better. i think this is a great idea and if its printed i'd buy. $5
