I really like it, but would like to see a little more detail on the body of the spider. The leg junctures look awkward and the body's a bit too ovular -- more like a space ship with eight legs than a living creature.

This is so dangnabbit awesome that I almost dropped dead when I saw it. I am blown away by its originality, never in the history of design have I seen something so unique. I would not only buy it but I would wear it every single freakin day, just like that kid in the book "Aaron's T-shirt". Check it out at your local library and picture Aaron wearing the Spider Shirt.

I just must add, since I am such a fan, I love the design of the spider. The stylization is perfect for the design, anything more fully realized would have been overkill. You nailed it........

Harvestman spiders??? Problem is they are certainly not spiders, for although they have eight legs, like spiders, their first limbs are armed with pincers and they do not have a spiders thread like waist. Instead their body is broad, like that of a shortened miniture scorpian. Most of the five thousand or so species of them live in the tropics, in south america and southeast asia, but a particular long legged form occurs inh Europe and commonly appears in considerable numbers in autumn. They like their scorpion cousins, are aggresive hunters and eat slugs, bristletails and other small creatures. Some species are even strong enough to break open a snail shell with their pincers and eat the occupant. |

ANCATHUS, Im confused, do you mean the spider in th design looks like a scorpion? Clearly the designer wasn't going for a anatomically correct spider but instead a representation of a spider. I read the spider as the designers interpretation, and I think by doing this he has created a very frightening and powerful image.

The concept scares me to death so I don't know if I would wear it (I'd be swatting at my chest all day), but it's got a nice execution.

I love daddy long legs, but we never had the round, orange kind where I grew up. The kind we have here look *exactly* like that.

Nice design!!! The artwork is dynamic and haunting. If I found myself in this situation I'd have to change my underwear. Bravo... I'd buy a shirt for everyone in my family.

At first, I thought the spider was just standing on lines, but when I noticed it was a face, I was in shock. I love , love, LOVE this design. Without a doubt $5.

I see where you're coming from rikyuso, though I maintain that the image looks awkward. This picture shows that they are ovular, but all the legs protrude from the front half of the body:

I like this design since it is simple yet nice. Something to look at while not being too flashy. The thickness of lines is crisp and aesthetically noticeable. If I had one of these shirts that would fit me , I would definetly wear it.

I have a horrible and unnatural fear of spiders. ESPECIALLY daddy-long-legs. If I ever worse this shirt, it'd make me piss myself. I'm not kidding. [ or laugh and cry at the same time like some nut-job! yay! ] What's worse, this sort of scenario has actually happened to me; on my arms, mainly though. Clever little spideys. -shudder- |
