Not to mention the Kong hype. Funny-ish idea and well done, but it's kinda odd how they both seem to be leaning out rather than interacting with each other.

my only comment is on the relevance. How many people still use tapes regularly and really how new are CDs? How soon will it be before there are kids who see that image of a tape and say "what is that"? I might have used some sort of mp3 player. Not necessarily an iPod because they are almost overused in designs nowdays but maybe just make it overall socially relevant...

I thought she was vinyl.

I think that this is an very subtle artistic protest, somehow like Mobydick, where the wale was the virgin land about to be conquered. This work is about audio tape and cd, king kong and the small girl being only the support for this antinomy. You could see that from the fact that their heads are those objects. Also, I think that’s brilliant the comparison between KK and the girl,on one hand, and tape+cd on the other, their characters qualities being transferred to those two audio supports. Audio tape was kind of primitive, with a lot of force. It is the past that was forgotten and not understand today, modern people making hierarchies and killing for them. It is the force that could not explicitly express, but with a lot of human touch. A good candidate for a good kill. And so on… I don’t talk about cd. You could do that just by looking in the mirror.
Please not be shallow in your comments. This work is also a joke against you also: is a masterpiece that uses a t-shirt as a support in the same way he use those two characters. I congratulate the author! And I surely buy it!

I hate anything that replaces a head with something that's not a head... creeps me out and annoys me since I've seen it about 13 billion times. Get a new idea.

I agree with Unaltadam - there is evolution here, and mockery, and division of quality.

Yo, brothers and sisters! Of corse I'm agree with UNALTADAM comments. Solari, I think that new form of expression are hard to find this days - but this is not a right criteria to judge something. Let's just say that only new mesages on old expression forms could be apllied. And I think that art is too far away if this expression form it's allready a classic... The only “wrong” thing that has this shirt is that you can read the message in a second. But hey, otherway people will stope you an the street to read your shirt for hours. I think that for what is ment to be (a shirt, but special) it’s a great job! I start the my offer at 30 $

I like the KONG drawing. I wouldn't buy it though, I don't know.. I think CDs have been around since the 80's aren't they pretty old anyway? And if you were going for OLD wouldn't you use vinal or an 8-track. HEY!!! That'd be cool Have Kong vinal and the chick 8-track and make them both in wheel chairs... OK that's dumb sorry.

i loved the movie king kong. not so much the shirt....i think it's the fact they don't have real heads...

I really like it! I think they look like they're interacting kind of, the cd head is slanted towards King Kong.... I'd lose the little trickle of blood running down his chest unless he had a visible wound, that would be even more profound. I feel dumb using a word like profound in a tee shirt description, but it fits. And I want it. 5 and a buy.

The whole old meets new theme is overdone and pretty ridiculous.
