We've seen designs where contrast happens below the water or ground surface. This could work better with stronger lines. Or keep the sketch feel and get deeper color.

I think this is too similar to that T where the guy is fishing on top of a giant fish.

I like it, but personally, would prefer if the design was positioned differently on the shirt, like bottom left or right. Or just... A little off-kilter.

hmm, I like the idea, of a dual layered animal or monster, but I guess there are so many octopuses on this site that I've become a little jaded. In saying, the actual drawing style is interesting with nice line quality in the bottom section.
