So I was at the Zoo a while ago and saw this animal and instantly thought I bet it wished it was a panda.

I know there is already a kick ass panda shirt, but this isn't about the panda, its about the animal that wants to be the panda.

- It has never had the world sit around waiting to know the name of its new baby
- The Tapir does not get any billboards, t.v. commercials, or any other print ads with its likeness telling you to come visit the zoo
- The Tapir has a similar color scheme but wished it had cool

It should be the other way around cause tapers are much cooler than pandas

Tapirs DON'T need to be pandas... but I think it's hilarious a) that it is a tapir, and b) that it personally wishes it were a panda. The tapir is a seriously cool animal, but it just doesn't the publicity and mass popularity of the panda. It probably wishes that it had the panda's publicists, media attention, and rabid fan club. It wishes that it could be the mascot of conservation organizations and cheap fast food noodle restaurants.

I would buy this shirt IN A HEARTBEAT, and I have a couple friends who are crazed tapir fans who would need to buy it too. PRETTY PLEASE let this be printed! Poor little unappreciated tapir!

hey, i'm doing pretty well on my own but i still wish i was natalie portman! i'm pretty smart and not bad looking but she's way smarter, gorgeous, and famous! i think everyone can relate to the poor little tapir :(.

Also, I agree -- the popularity of the panda gets in the way, this shirt is all about the TAPIR. I love how it's brought us tapir lovers together -- united in agreement that the tapir should be a shirt, and is much more handsome than the panda.
