bortwein on Jan 04 '06 I like how it looks on Black better than the White. But: I'm having trouble giving this a high score right now. It's probably because I feel like the design is too simple. I know what went into creating the design, but I feel like it could have been done with just a web color conversion in photoshop.

Process wise - it was quite easy, due to using red yellow and blue, i was able to make a few patterns that changed colour really easy with minimal adjustment. Lets hope we do see some of the swatches on future designs! Thanks again, and i agree, the vibe here is getting better again. Matt |

...but it doesn't have more than 4 colours. It would be great if you could now take this a step further a put together an image based design, using your swatches - the palette could be a tag on the bottom of your shirt.

d3d on Jan 05 '06 clever but ugly. in the wider world where the technology to print millions of colours actually exists the point of this would be entirely lost. i think it needs something extra like a title or label to make the point to random viewers that it really is just a combination of 4 colours.

the illustrator swatch pallete! i love it on black. all the graphic artist nerds i work with will love it too. ah, illustrator.

I Think that may have been better with the palette window too, a macOS classic's one for example. Also you really have to be far far away to see correct colors considering the size it's printed.
Anyway, that's interesting. |

cause on a shirt you can only use 4 colors right? so now when you submit a shirt you can get a whole bunch of colors on it just by uses 4. haha. nice. |

ooooh and i see why it can only be on a black or white shirt.
cause on white the 4 colors would be red, blue, yellow, and black. and on black its would be with white. some people up there dont seem to get it... |
