its nice, kinda lovecraftian.
i think it needs something else, though. Maybe the rest of the monster or have the thing coming out of the ground. i would say place it lower but that could look like some mad erection at a distance. |

Sage-freakin'-stone.
It looks fabulously creepy on the sagestone; the other colours make the design look like it's failing in an attempt to be bubblegum-cutesy. Like it's saying, "Please let me be a children's storybook!" but it's just too damn weird, and thus it's failing at life. Okay, I just rambled on for a long time about nothing, when really all I needed to say was "SAGE-FREAKIN'-STONE." |

Guavagirl, i didn't have Gorey consciously in mind, but WOW that's so much cooler than the Vasquez comparisons i'm used to getting on my drawings. and the poem rocks. :P

I like the monster, but the tongue going in that kids mouth like some kind of medical tube just wigs me out. I tend to like creepy thing too. I guess congratulations for freaking out the normally unfreakoutable me.
