Very nice work, but dare I say, it could be used better and more creatively with something other than a snowman. Like sort of a keys to success in the modern world or keys to designing a winning threadless shirt or something else funny. $5 for the idea

mikemills on Jan 03 '06 ^ Agreed. I'm as big a fan of Glennz's stuff as anyone, but he isn't infallible - or immune to criticism. I don't think this is as strong as his other work myself, but it's nicely executed... 3

i dont think that the score should be affected by who designed it, although sometimes i tend to do it too, try to be as honest as possible.like always, glenn, amazing illustartion, but im just not feeling it.

The puddle looks like it's ready for a full volume

It's pretty hard to see what this is at first, but then the whole model toy thing hits you... I like it, although it's not your best! :(

I thought the blob was supposed to be a cell, or cytoplasm, and the little pieces were organelles...Then I saw the hat, and was like, "what?..oh" and it dawned on me. I like the cell idea a lot better.

I got the model toy thing right away, no problem.
But the melted frosty took forever. So. . . . I wanna like it, because the idea is dead on. . . but I just don't, quite, yet. |

Took me a while to figure out what it represents, from Willy Wonka to Sherlock Holmes until I got it. Nice looking definitely, but I'd give it a $5 if you could one on Me Bf-109E.

It's a bit hard to figure out. (Though there arent many snowmen made here {I live in florida, and had to read the comments to tell what it was. I had no Idea})

travis76 on Jan 04 '06 i LOVE the model pop out idea...i love the monochromatic pallette, but not a big fan of snowmen, i think it'll be limiting instead of all purpose.
i either 4'd or 5'd it, i can't remember. i think it's a shock to everyone's taste because it's so 'un glennz' major props to him for mixing it up, call me crazy but this is my fave of his....but i can't buy it because of the subject. |

I'm not a huge snowman fan, either. But (as usual) amazing execution. It's one of those shirts I'd sport just to give props to good color/illustration.

Teddie: in the cartoon, the kids put the hat, pipe, etc. on a melted puddle to bring Frosty back to life ...
... am I right? ... I like the idea even tho it took me a bit to figure it out too. I think the "G" is missing from the melty snowman on a technical note. Overall, I'd buy it because it is so clever. :) $4 |

I didn't know what this was at first, I thought the puddle was a bunch of puke, and then I got it. Great job.

I, like someone else mentioned, also thought it was a cell (specifically an amoeba) and I loved the idea of an amoeba with a hat and scarf and all ;; But the actual concept is really sleek too, $5
