why are the deer suddenly appearing to come out of trees?

And why is he hunting at night? Isn't that illegal?

Other than that, I love it. 4.

Nice, I like this one! Cool colours.

The birds (?) in the back could have been a bit bigger and spreaded out a bit more, and the trees could have been somewhat more different (they look too similar)

Somehow I absolutely love it, but I still give it a 4 because it could be even better if you work on it some more.

Ahhh! I love how you managed to use red and green without giving it that Christmas vibe.

Toss the hoof prints or extend them, makes it look like the deer materialized behind the tree.

Real nice though 4

where did the deer come from? their footsteps seem to appear out of no where (thought that isn't to odd considering their deer and all, sneaky bastards)
but its all a bit to chaotic in an organized way. maybe its just that green and red are both grey in my book, but it took my longer to see the owl than it did for me to see the deer.
good idea though.
great shirt color too

I'm pretty sure this is, as some have pointed out, an oregon trail reference. If so, then very cool idea, but it misses something in the execution. The perspective is a little off and so is the scale; why is the bird so big compared to the trees? I'm guessing so we can see him, but this can be done differently. Lots of potential, but just off the mark a little.
